dying dash board?
i have a beat up old brown dashboard and im hoping to transform my interior to black
i have the oppertunity to get a dash with no cracks pretty cheap at a close junkyard
how hard would it be to dye the dash shell black?
and would it last?

LMC truck has special colorbond paint for this purpose.

I wouldn't fool with it. That stuff never seems to last and just rubs, flakes, or chips off. I know a few people that have had decent results with it. Personally, I think that its best to leave it alone or replace it with a nicer one of the same color. If you want a different color interior, then I would just find a donor truck with the color interior that you want and change it all over.

Krylon will peel off. I tried painting a outside plastic table with Krylon it feeled off 24 hours later. Duplicolor is just as bad.
