Avic-N4 Intalled this weekend.

Thought I would Post a Pic of the hacked N-4 in the Truck. Great Navigation System. And good Picture for dvd and PS3. Now I just have to get the big screen installed.

Nice!!

I'm guessing you got the navi and dvd workin' while driving, a la "hack".

6 years later and I'm still sportin' the old school AVIN-N1 in my SD!!! I've gone through 3 navi antenna's, but otherwise an extremely solid product.

YA I did the wire hack to allow in motion navi and dvd access!

Ya I love the Avic line. I started with the N1. if anyone is thinking of getting the N5 I would highly sugest getting the N4 they cut alot of the features on the N5 the N4 is the far superior product.

Why not one of the AVIC double din units?

I like the single dins with the fold out. I am in a college town and this was the best way to get the full features of a doulble din with actually a bigger monitor and still have it "go away" when not in use. Decks get stolen up here all the time. The single looks like a piece of plastic only 5 buttons when closed.

Great looking install!

I'm a double din fan myself, but I can understand wanting to have a fold away face, especially at a college area. All of my double din's are screwed to the inner dash plates in some form or another, so it wouldn't be just a quick bezel pop and ****** the radio on mine. A thief is going to need to bring some tools and a little time to get mine out...
