For a Ford 8.8" axle in a 1989 F150, does anyone know if the shock brackets that are welded to the rear axle tube are sold separately?

Yes, I have seen them at my local Auto Value pats store. This leads me to believe that Carquest would carry them. The only problem I could see is fabricating upper brackets(if you are creating a quad shock setup)---but if you only need replacments, they are availible.

 

I would fab anything you need, that way you can custom make it and make it work, if those resources are not available then i would go and try to buy them. good luck

Thanks for the info, I think I will try to fabricate some and weld them to the axle.
