I have a 2004 Excursion Limited 6.0 with the back-up aid/reverse sensors.
My reverse sensors have been acting up lately, they work sometimes and the next time the system just switches off. I found that one of the connectors is cracked and not fitting in the sensor very good.
Does anyone know if you can get replacement connectors? Part number?
You can actually buy just about any connector on your vehicle BUT it is virtually impossible for the parts guys to look them up. You can check to see if the connector has a part # on it. It won't be the actual part # the dealer will use but they can possibly cross it. Any harness that was sold to the service department at the dealership I was parts manager at I would require them to turn the old one back in and I would cut the connectors off. We had a rather large supply. You might try that also.
