no cat here.. MAP is cheked.. O2 is cheked maybe its the stator in the dist like you said.. im going to replace that next.. my EGR is blocked off... so i dont think thats the prob.. i have a new fuel pump and new fuel filter.. so its not a fuel problem its a spark prob..

In the begining you said .050 spaark plug gap shorten to .035 see if it gets better. I've seen problems like this many times and many times it's simpler than you might think. Sense it bot better when you changed the plugs I have the sense that you simply aren't getting enough power to the plug to jump the large gap causing a mis, it takes more power with more throttle. While I'm at it I don't suggest platnum plugs they don't stay clean. I do suggest the Taylor thundervolt 50 wires going from 300 ohms per foot to 50 can make a huge differance.

thanks btw the stock gap for my truck is 0.43- 0.46 so im going to try in that range... thanks!

but dont you think its strange that only the 3 last cylinders on the passenger side plugs are missing. ?

nway i have a set of old plugs that i took of a while ago 0.43 gap im going to put them on the side that its missing

3 cylinders in a row would have me looking for a vacuum leak.

I don't remember the vacuum hose routing on a 5.8 but I'd start checking lines and fittings. There is also a gasket between the top and bottom sections of the intake manifold that can fail resulting in a major vacuum leak. Vacuum leaks can lean out a cylinder(s) to the point that it won't fire.
