it will rev fine in nuetrall but when driving i can drive fine but i cant give it more than 1/4 throttle it misses and runs terrible no power..
note: sparkplugs are new, autolite coppers gapped at 0.50
cap rotor is new
wires are new ( have been cheked for crossfire no sign of it )
coil is new

ohh and no codes about any sensors that can cuase a miss.
You don't have a condenser in a 1990 truck. A condenser is used with breaker point type distributors and will react the same way when they fail. Ford stopped using points after 1974.
DjDemon6696 I fought this same problem with my truck mainly how I was able to steal it, no one knew what was wrong. Took the same route as you replaced everything. I was then told by a some that it was the fuel pump and others "oh no couldnt be". Well I checked the fuel pressure at idle and it was fine, little be hold under load in drive the pressure would spike up and down ant that truck would buck like a full size bronco. I changed the fuel pump and the problem went away. Not saying every case is the same but thats what worked for me. Let us know.......how many miles on the truck? trans?

its not a fuel problem when i give it WOT its got its power. but like its running on 7 cyl..and smoking black soo fuel its got.. spark im not shure.. maybe one plug is faulty becuase the problem came slowly and got worse and worse.. first it misses but when i got to high rpms it somethimes cathes back and pull strong like allways.. im going to change the plugs tomorrow see what happens. i have a set on my new engine im going to swap them see what happens ..
soo i had a new set of plugs on a new engine i changed them.. the missing got less.. when more trottle is given it misses more like in higher rpms is misses then stops then misses again then stops.. at WOT about 3500 rpm.. the sparkplugs at the passenger side the 3 last ones the first 2 ones was wet with gasoline and the last one was full with oil.. :S the other ones was burning good
I Have The 1988 460 C6 4x4,i Had The Same Problem. Put A New Coil Wires Plugs, Module Was 2 Years Old.after Doing All That It Ran Better For A Short Time But Had A Miss. So I'm Thinking O'l Great,come To Find Out My Cat Was A Big Problem, Hollowed My Cat It Ran A Whole Lot Better,also Went Through The Problem Of Sometimes It Would Start,other Times It Would Not.not Dependable.this Problem Was The Stator Inside The Distibutor,now I'm Dealing With Egr Or Fuel Pressure Not Sure Which One Is Acting Up Yet.let Us Know What You Find Out...
On The Cat Mine Had A Crackle Sound To It. You Might Want To Look At Your O2 An Map Sensor, My Map Had A Cracked Vacuum Line.check All The Little Things..
