Okay, it's not my truck but my wife has locked her's and my keys inside our 2003 Honda Oydssey van. Any ideas on how to get it open? I'm afraid if I go with the coat hanger and start trying to get in I'll set off the alarm and won't be able to shut it off. Any help is appreciated!
Call a lock smith. I did same thing on my 98 Mustang GT. First I called the police, they couldnt get it, so I called a lock smith, charged $60.
Did same dang thing in my old f150, police did that one.
Paint sticks to get the top of the door open then coat hanger for the door lock button. Thats how I go about it. Also make sure none of the other doors are unlocked....
At work we have lock out kits. They come with a small air bag and a hand pump. you take a plastic wedge to open up a gap and then slide the bag in, then you use a bent up poll to unlock it. I think they are only like 30$. but you could use the paint stirrers that Tim suggested and then bend up a wire coat hanger. Just make sure you do it on the passenger side so that if anything happens you dont have to see it every time you get in and out of the van. O ya, make sure you dont catch the door seal when inserting the wedging device.
Do you have "Pop-a-Lock" service where you live? They are trained lockout service people. After you get in go get a door key made and tape it under the vehicle. Also spray undercoating over it so unless you know just where to use your pocket knife it will not be found except when you need it. I also own a set of lockout tools from when I ran a valet service years ago. http://www.lockpickshop.com/AKCOM00.html Belive me the key under the tape is easier on the pocket no matter how you go.

Ain't that the truth. My wife locked her keys in the car grocery shopping this week but she was a half hour away! In the last 8 years I still have not made the time to hide a key on her car! So I clocked out from work ran 85 mph down the highway and back in an hour. So between wages and fuel that cost me about $40! hide a Key is going in tomorrow!
I can't get into that car, but I can break in my truck about as quick as using keys with an old ford master cylinder clamp. It's bent perfect to pull the push button on the wing window and the hook where it used to mount in the master cylinder hooks the lever. It's like it was built for breaking in these trucks. If anyone needs pics on what and how to, let me know.
alot of times you can pull the top of the door out far enough to reach in with somthing, if you have power windows and door locks you can probably wedge the door out enough to run a metal coat hanger down and press one of the buttons and get in. on alot of vehicals you can wedge the top of the door out over an inch before you start damaging anything well depending on the method used to wedge the door.
All of the above are good suggestions except "Breaking a window" and I assume this is not a convertible and the top is down. ;-)>
My question is:.....If she locked the keys in the car she must have locked the doors before she shut it. If that is how it happened then the alarm is not armed as that is normally set with a remote and once again I assume that the remote is with the keys.
For future referance keep a spare key wired under car or in the case of our OBS trucks never lock the vent windows, it makes a nice axcess when ya accidently hit the auto door lock button........ I really hate the electric door locks makes it too easy for a goof up
