Tranny Hard cooler Lines

Tranny Hard cooler Lines
Where can I find 3/8" pre-made hard tranny cooler lines? I think that the stock lines are 5/16" so it doesn't make much sense to add a cooler with 3/8" then adapt it down to 5/16".
One other thing, the thermal by-pass. Where does one find one of these? Are they mounted in-line? Are they pre-set at a specific temp?
Any info is always appreciated.

eBay Motors: TRU-COOL TRANSMISSION COOLER THERMAL BYPASS BY-PASS (item 170244184340 end time Oct-24-08 14:39:47 PDT)
As far as I know its set at certain temp (180 I think). I have not installed mine yet so I can't say for sure. It is mounted inline on both lines.
I think I have a link at home for lines so if you don't get an answer yet I will post it up.

this place has cooler lines but they don't state if they are 5/16 or 3/8.
Inline Tube - Preformed Stainless & OEM Brake Line Sets
most stock lines 5/16. I think some have 3/8. Most coolers are 3/8.

Tim is right, the thermal break that comes with tranny cooler "Tru-Cool 4739 MAX" is set at 180F. I installed one and like it a lot.
The trans heats up very quickly even in the winter and just stays @ 160-180F under most conditions.
I've seen 200F once....20K load up a long hill, but went down after I let off the skinny pedal and slowed down a bit.
BTW: I didn't go with the larger tubes....might not be needed unless you really punish the trans hard.

That is my whole point, it doesn't seem right to restrict the flow of 3/8" cooler to 5/16" lines. I don't know how much of a restriction that is plus right now I am running a cooler that will accommodate 1/2" lines and I have that reduced to 5/16".
I did purchase a new stacked cooler like TJ has and while I'm going through the labor to install it I want bigger tranny lines as well.
I look into some of those supplied links and report back.
Thanks to all for your input.

These are the part numbers for the 3/8" SD 4R100 lines, keep in mind you'll have to either run the 4R100 bypass, make spacers for deleting the tube, or run something like the Dieselsite bypass delete. These will fit our E4OD's with no issues....
