As Ron White would say, you can't fix stupid!!!
My 2003 has a heated mirror, and I can't figure out how to turn it on. I scanned the owners manual, with no luck. Any help appreciated. Hammer
There is no switch to turn them on or off. They work in conjunction with some other setting (not sure which setting though). Probably something to do with the heater setting. Sorry I dont have a more specific answer. Hopefully someone else will respond but I thought I would at least contribute that there is not a manual switch to activate them.
I can't find any reference anywhere to any kind of switch, either in the owner's manual or the service manual. The only reference I can find to heated mirror's is a fuse.
If one were creative, energetic and really wanted to, they might be able to trace down the wires and hook them up to a switch. It is kind of annoying when they get wet, and the heat dries them off leaving water spots and crap. I get tired of cleaning them.
It's pretty well known around here that they are always on. There is even a modification posted so that one of your upfitter switches can be used to turn them on/off at will. A deep search should find it.
