Haven't been working on anything on the truck other than radios and electrical power - 12VDC and 120V shore power. Business has been really wacked. I don't know why. I heard that some one is Washington DC spent all the money??
Anyway, I ran out of funds for reupholstering the front seats and had to work extra hard on getting new work for our business so I have been distracted from the truck for a few months.
I am involved in local groups that help out in emergencies - CERT, CERT Ham Radio, and a few others. We've all been preparing for the next fire season which started anyway without us in Santa Barbara. So I had to put some "truck fixin' time" into the 4x4.
I do admit to being a rainy day fan - when the truck breaks this is the first place I go for help. Otherwise I'm probably not using a computer but I'm working on a hobby. The truck (E450) is now a hobby.
I have tried to do better with at least weekly check ins and posting my 2 cents when I thought it would help. I did want to attend an event in April I think it was, but the truck is not ready to roll and what would the fun be of going to an FTE event in a GMC.
Dropping by to say, Hello. I read the posts just about everyday from my PDA because its easy, dont reply because I dont really like typing on the tiny keyboard. I dont really have any news or updates on the truck as im working on my quad. One project at a time.
Hadn't seen you around in months!! Glad you're still here.
Check out the announcement at the top of the SoCal forum - there's a big F100 show coming up next month, and we are having our meet there. It's not to far - maybe you can make it.
