Did you not read the description? It was designed specifically for SEMA. I think it shows great creativity. If nobody went out on the edge in creating these wicked creations everyone would still be driving a stock truck.

No offense, I'm still trying to see what "Creative" product you are see there!!
I don't see anything too out of the ordinary on that one. It's nice but not my cup of tea. However, someone spent a lot of time on it and did a very good job on it, the lines are smooth and it looks like it could have come factory that way.
I think it is a cool truck. If I had a 4x4 shop or a custom shop that is the kinda stuff that sells product and gets people in the door. I am sure it looks ten times better in person then the photos.
Am I looking at the right link? What I see looks a tad more than ordinary or stock
From a custom F650 clip to custom 4 link front/rear, trussed axles, 5.13 gears, dual hydraullic assisted stearing custom stainless exhaust, all fiberglass interior. I dont know, it obviously is not built to get dirty but this thing is probably built tougher and with more mods than I'll ever do. if it really cost him well over $150,000 then my hat off to him (though if I had $150g's to spend I probably would have spent it elsewhere).

The entire truck is custom. That is what "Creative" is. It was obviously designed and built by a company wanting to showcase what they can do. Why spend twice as much $ on a truck that's only purpose is to showcase their abilities. If you can start with a base model truck and build it up then that's money saved.
This isn't some joe schmo who had $150k burning a hole in his pocket and wanted to pick up some ladies at the mall. It's advertising and showcasing what they can do. Do you look at all the concept cars at the car show and say "pssh I would have spent the money on something else. what a waste" ?
