You're right on in saying, "If I had that money, I wouldn't spend it like that." I personally wouldn't build a truck like that either. The difference between you, me, Riggz and 99% of the rest of people on this forum would never spend our hard earned cash to build a truck like that.
But this wasn't one person blowing cash. It is a business that built the truck to showcase the unlimited amount of custom work that they can due for their customers (people like us). We (the customers) all like to personalize/customize our vehicles differently so they are ours. This truck was customized to show us just some of the things that they (the company) can do to personalize/customize our trucks.
Creativity is just that - creative. No matter if YOU like it or not, it's creative. It took a crew with pretty good imaginations to create it. Just like a crew that makes concept vehicles takes alot of imagination!!
So, NO, this is not a concept vehicle, HOWEVER, it was created using an existing vehicle with the same imaginative skills it takes to create a concept (never before seen) vehicle. Funny how that works.
It's just the company showing off it's a bility to do the work. Someone will see that and say if they can do that to an older F250 what can they do to my truck?" and that's where they make their money. I think it's over done but it was done specifically to get the attention from all the other cars at a show.
