Hope you get her fixed. Just to let you know I was talking to a friend off mine who used to be a diesel tech at a Ford dealer. He was telling me that you should change that fuel filter every time you change oil. He was saying that filter is very restrictive an once its plugged hose injectors will take a hit an go bad.He said he told an out fit that has Ford ambulances who were having trouble with bad injectors. They took his advice an never had no problem again. He also said that these trucks should not be idled very much. If you have to idle over 5 mins shut it of. Boy this guy knows these trucks. He worked on him for a long time. Seen about everything there is to see. Now this is not Chris (Redneck Cowboy) but another guy I know. Just told me this 2 weks ago when I see him. Thought i would add this here for Pat to see. Since he owns one.

I change my fuel filters every 15,000, per the manual. If I start having problems with them, I'll go with every oil change. I've heard about the idling problems, with the wet-lapping that can occur. I avoid the long term idling, maybe for a minute at the max.

Thats good lot off people dont even do that. Thats where the problems start. Just some things I threw out there. An ounce off prevention worth a pound off cure.
