5.4 s/charger-Blower question

Hi guys been awhile since i posted over here. But im thinking this might be the place to do it for this question. I bought a 08 superduty back in may. it has the 5.4 3 valve which by the way is just as awesome in the sd as it was in my 04 fx4. question is how or can i put charger or blower on this beast. Im thinking i probably can surely someone else is thinking of this or done it by now. they just are not available for the 08 super duty trucks. are they that different under the hood. what really stinks is there just isnt any good mods available for these trucks yet. any input would be appreciated. thanks guys

any reason why you did not buy the desiel????
i know the 5.4 in the older super duty's were dogs and can see why you want a super charger or blower on the new truck

i wonder if a roush kit would work with just different computer tuning. the tuning is what's going to get you in the end everything else you can make or moddify to fit

A couple of months ago Roush was getting rid of their stock of 5.4 superchargers on ebay. I think they were going for around $3K? Anyway, I would think those would be a bolt on solution however, you would need an outfit that could provide a custom tune.

time you put a charger on there and all the necessary changes, you could have had the 6.4L... good luck.

doesn't really help when his truck's an '08... i read that there's differences in the electrical systems so the '04-'07 stuff won't work with '08 model trucks.

I just realized he was talking about a Superduty. Missed that one

btw, it's a $50 kit that adapts the superchargers to the 07-08's. Something about the e-fan location and a sensor

The 2007-2008 supplemental kit is for the intercooled Roushcharger, not the earlier non-intercooled Roushcharger.
