Kris, after seeing the pictures and talking with you I know exactly what happened. When we discussed the sypmtoms the truck started doing after you got out of the hospital as to what the truck was running like at startup even on the stock tune; that loud knock and white smoke was your issue. You need to pull that injector of the broken rod cylinder and have it inspected. Get the flow sheets of all of them and lets see what they look like. Another customer same issue and one injector hole was flowing 100cc's more then the other 7.

Just curious, I thought all injectors are flow checked before sale? How can they have one so far off and not be caught. Is this only a problem on hybrid injectors or all injectors. The only reason I ask this is because I will be getting new injectors soon and I really don't want to see this happen to my motor. Thanks

Very few companies flow check. The equipment is very expensive. My suggestion would to only go with a company that supplies this data. You will need to ask who you buy them from if they flow check.

Like Diane said, most are not... You do the math and you hope it works.

Mine flowed between 223-225, close enough...

When you buy injectors from a company that does it, it is generally part of their service. No extra fee. Some companies won't send out injectors unless they have been done.
