I got a CEL yesterday and my Xcal2 said the DTC was P0401 - insufficient EGR flow. This tune is supposed to have the EGR disabled I thought? I have the EGR plugged in and cleaned it about 5k miles ago (wasn't dirty).
Please let me know your thoughts on this, my concern is that it may go to the "safe" fueling table and turbo position and my veins will get stuck, also I don't want the CEL coming on all the time. I cleared it for now so I guess I'll wait and see if it comes back. Thanks for any input!

How old is that tune? Matt had gone back to activating the EGR valve on his later tunes due to the fact that more people were reporting better mpg's with the valve on as opposed to it being off.
This is why I'm a firm believer in just bypassing it altogether and that way you don't have to worry about rather or not the tune has it on or off.
I downloaded the tune from their archive about 6 weeks ago. The archive says the tunes are for off-road use only and that they are available with emissions equipment intact, so it sounds like the EGR is disabled. I just cleared it and went back to stock, drove it hard for a while, then loaded Max Econ and drove for a while, no CEL yet.
I'm a little weary of Max Econ though, I've read its almost as hot as the Hybrid Race tune and I have stock headbolts.
Actually I think the hybrid is cooler than the max economy. At least in my truck it is. Strange that you're getting a CEL with an 03 for EGR. You must have a California emissions flash since they seem to turn on the EGR for that. I wouldn't worry about it going into default tables with Matt's tune.
