I have a couple of questions regarding the Cylinder output balance test! What does DTM & SFI stand for ? Also, does any of this mean that as in regards to this specific test, my 87' 5L, EFI truck is unfortunatly S.O.L.?

DTM: Diagnostic Test Mode.
SFI: Sequential Multiport Fuel Injection. A multiport fuel delivery system in which each injector is individually energized and timed relative to its cylinder intake event.

You do not have SFI and can not run an Cylinder output balance test.

Okay I ran the KOER test. Got the engine ID to flash four times. Pressed the brake, turned off the OD, then turned it back on. RPM's went up to about 1700 or so for about 30 seconds. After they came back down I got the single single CEL flash and stepped on the gas (not sure if I opened the throttle enough). After another 10 seconds or so, I got a code 33.

Not sure if I did it correct or not. I don't get home from work till late and the daylight is getting short in a hurry. I may try it again tomorrow night. If I don't get to it. I'll fiddle with it and repost on Saturday. Code 33 is EGR valve not opening but you mentioned only three digit codes...

Appreciate all the help

A 95 truck only has three digit codes.
If the spaces were long enough that could have a 111, 111 and that would have been the pass code.

Yeah that makes sense (doh) as I only got the 33 code once, which means that I got 111, 111. Okay. I will do the engine balance test this weekend.
