There is a stretch about a mile along that people will break down in occasionally during rush hour. I stopped and hooked up this camero one time, I swear, at least 20 people drove by and flipped me off..
I offered to pull out a stuck FedEx truck one time and he refused. Said it was against company policy. Fine by me if you want to sit there stuck in the snow.
All this talk of beer and ice cream....its making me wish I didnt have to go to work in an hour.
What kind of tow straps do you guys carry for these perma-grin moments?
I have 50' of 1/2"cable, 30 foot of chain, 2 #20,000 snap stretchs, I have a bunch of different lifting type contraptions that work real well for connecting to the car/truck, ect.
I bought this stuff from different machine shops, garage sales, and what not. Other then the chain, most was bought to help pull debries out of our local river. I belong to a group that cleans out the river of downfall, and gabage.

Guess he figured he,d sit and get paid for it and not have to deliver the rest of his packages for the day. LOL.

I think fedex delivery drivers are " private contractors", saying that, I don't know who actually owns the truck... let a loose cannon( not pointing fingers, but many have no business hooking a tow strap to anything more expensive than an ice cream cone) with no liability insurance hook on and break something... well, there goes your pay the next 3 weeks if you are responsible for truck repairs.
