eBay Motors: FORD 2004-08 F150 2.5" LEVELING KIT- 2 1/2" FRONT LIFT (item 120309474946 end time Oct-03-08 20:51:39 PDT)
I dont have pictures of mine, but it looks good. Whatever kit you buy make sure it goes on top of the strut tower, instead of inside the strut assembly. That kit pre-loads the spring and makes it ride rough. Also it can be a bear compressing and dissasembling the strut assembly. Do yourself a favor and soak the tie rod ends, and sway bar ends with lubricant a week before; It helps save alot of time when you go to do the install. But deffinetely check out HBS website. They are great to deal with.
This is also a great Leveling kit, it's what i have on my truck and is all the rage on F150online.com.
2.5" is adequate to fit 35" tires by itself. it will also make 99% of trucks sit perfectly level or slightly nose high.
3" is for those wanting extra help. a few people have them and the angle on your halfshafts is more extreme...but not alot more. the 3" pretty much guarantee's you'll need an add a leaf out back to get rid of the lower rear end look
