Chopped Top on

Finally got a new top on the F1 and then chopped it 2". Leading and body work will come after all the parts are back on the pickup. The next step is the 2" channeling. Pictures in my Galley of the chop.

Nice work

Looks like you got what you wanted; must have been a lot of work. I'll be following your progress.

Looks like a killer job! Thank you for the chop top progress pics. It is fun to see how people do these, and the different approaches to it. The layed back front glass will look good.

Top looks great; I haven't started on my top yet, I still want to take out 4''. Did you lean the post back to keep from having to put a strip across the center? Great job, can't wait to see the channel.

Wow, great work and a great gallery! You do some really nice work, I can't wait to see the finished truck.

I think a round of frosty beverages are in order here...and a toast

Keep up the good work
Bobby

Nice job! Will you have any problems with window cycling since you will need to now tip the top of the doors in a bit?
I just finished my chassis table so the next step is to stretch my cab then sit back and see how much of a chop is in order. I figure with a 6" extension through the doors I may only end up cutting 3/4" to 1 1/2" out of the top but we will see. How was the distortion with the MIG in your sail panels?

Again nice work.
