Do any of you out there have any experiences with chopping the top on a F1. I am seriously considering the task but before I do it would like to hear anyones ideas on it. The truck is not stock so I am not concerned with destroying its originality. I am considering a 3 1/2" chop at this point. Any info including problems you encountered would be appreciated.

I will be doing this to my 55' this weekend. I am having someone do it for me, but I will definately watch the process. I will let you know how this goes, its going to be interesting.

There's an article on how to do this in the most recent
(I think it's) Custom Classic Truck magazine (It has a picture of a blue truck on the front). Also on the
Trucks-tv website they have a past episode where they did this same thing. You can probably order the video.
