One piece side window??????

Noticed the earlier gm trucks have the aftermarket option of a one piece side window, as seen here:

'73-'87 Chevrolet C10 - Solid Side Glass - Sport Truck Magazine

I did a little photoshop on my truck and liked what I seen.

Im sure I could have custom glass cut and piece something together but thats just not me, which on second thought, might not be too difficult considering, anyhoo, is there a known company that offers a one piece side window kit for the 87-96 truck, I searched and found nothing?

Thanks.

I knew someone would come up with one sooner or later. When I was building my 85 Chevy Truck, no-one had came up with it yet. The curved glass was the problem. Now I would really like to have that done to my 97 F250

You guys are kidding, right?

I think you can get banned from the '87-'96 forum for disliking the triangular vent windows. Most of us here think it stinks that newer trucks don't come with them anymore.

I learned this trick a while back when driving a truck that lacks the vent window.

Roll the window down. I know, sounds too good to be true but it really works.

Kidding.

I can live without the vent window, its the back window I have to have.

Tell me this doesnt look better.

They don't make the 80-96 Ford kit yet but they are suposed to. They are working on a kit for 67-79s. You could call them and find out.

Thanks droppedf100 finaly something posative.

For all you "purests" are they also "ho hum" for adding power windows, A/C, Power stearing, etc.

I'm sure you all drive plain stock trucks with AM radios.

x2 on the positiveness, but..

A/C, power steering, and a good stereo add to the functionality or comfort of the truck. Removing the triangle windows detracts from it. And the fruity body style doesn't help much...

Opening the back window and the drivers side triangle while driving on the freeway is a truly wonderful experience.

Being able to fit more out the window like my whole arm with big gulp or my head to see when I'm wheelen isn't functional.

Being able to see my mirrors without looking through a post isn't functional.

Being secure that a theif can't pop the wing window isn't functional.

Having the window seal better and sound quieter isn't functional.

How does a stereo make the truck work better?
