If you want agressive and great on the street go with Super Swamper SSR redials! They have the familiar agggressive tread pattern as the rest of the Super Swamper line..... But, toned down a little for the street, added siping greatly improves driving on wet pavement and they are much quieter.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-Mar-02 AT 07:44 AM (EST)]I run the Explorer Pro Comp and love them, not real loud but great traction. Just thought I would toss in my two cents. My friend runs the BFG'S had the allterrains then switched to the mud terrains, now is buying a set of the Pro Comps cause they are so nice.
When it comes to tires, Michelin is the best tire out there. BFG's are made by michelin. They have a brand new mud tire that they claim is the quietest mudder out there. Go with BFG's MT. My .02
you can have a quite tire and a loud tire at once. I meen buy 2 sets of tires. My current tires are some dayton timberline 33 12.5s on some aluminum eagle alloy rims. THey look great but arnt that aggressive. THe best part is the tires have a 50,000 mile warrenty and only cost $90 a piece. The wheels wernt that cheep but they are nice. I use them for all of my daily driving. Now for the wheeling aspect i am buying some 35 boggers on soem cheep cheep black spoke wheels. They wont be used on the road but will run circles around any other mud tire. Besides sound isent a problem when you are in the mud.
