Becoming an 08

I posted some pics of the 08 tailgate I installed on my truck a while back, well I just scored an 08 bumper and painted it to match, watta ya think? Just need some 08 mirrors now. Ive also been thinking about adding the 08 twin tip to confuse people.

Looks great Adam, I like the painted look you have going on with it. Don't forget the 08 taillights with the reverse back up light. I have been looking for an 08 tailgate here, hopefully with my truck being white I won't have to repaint it. The bumper really looks great on it though and could you seriously put that ugly A$$ tailpipe on there??

I paid $300 for my 08 tailgate w/o step. Local so no shipping.

Local guy had one that he put on his 2000....but then bought a 08 step with the step so he was selling the one without the step.

I saw a few on ebay that went for 160-190 + shipping. Most go in the 300 range plus shipping.

With a step 500-700.
Step and camera 600+

How much does the bumper run without the back up sensors?

I thought about shaving the handle instead of the stamped in Ford Oval, I thought one or the other needed to go.

Have to swap the driver's side hinge on the truck for the 08 tailgate......cheap at the dealership.
Some of the ones on ebay include it.
