where does this go?

where does this go?



the red wire with a nut on it, that is sticking straight up and ends at the boost tube.
i took my dads spyder out to find a leak and when putting everything back in place i ran across this wire and i know i didnt take it off of anything, but where does it go?

I think it goes to the IAH. Intake Air Heater. just to the left of the center of the spyder. There is a little bolt sticking that's where it goes. Someone else that knows for sure will chime in.

Trace it backwards to see if it goes to one of those relays there on the right side of the fuel filter.

yes it goes on the intake heater you have circled.

great pic, but i dont even see the wire im having a problem finding where its goes.
i dont remeber ever taking it off, maybe my dad disconnected it and dont need it? since its not in ur pic?

Nolan removed his and plugged the hole for the boost line. The AIH would be right below the word "fitting" where the brass fitting connects to the clear tube. Its not needed for the engine to run, but you might not be able to run certain tests like the cylinder contrubtion test with it unhooked.

If you dont hook it up, make sure that wires removed or at least wrapped up with tape so it doesnt short out.

LOL i wish my motor was that clean!!! I stole that pic from someone els if i could remember who i would tell yall so you could throw some reps... I think it was brandon (Bdrummonds) Mark (Markadeck) or Dan (Kwikkordead) if not one of them i apologies...
