Unhappy Help

Last weekend i finally got the truck running after changing the fuel pump, VC gasket, pigtail, under VC harness and IPR o-rings, but I still had to do the water pump. Finally did the water pump today and figured everything was good to go. so I put some water (couple gallons) in it and fire it up and continue to fill the radiator with water. Well... no start! arggg! check the HPOP and thats full, checked the #22 fuse and thats good. Checked the GPR and that was bad, ha! found it. Replaced that, NOTHING! just did a quick test light test on the GP's and they seem good. HELP! I don't know what to do next, suggestions please

The tach is also showing about 200 RPM when turning over.

Did you remember to plug in the CPS?

Hmmm, I don't recall if it will or not.
It could be bad though still, and just read enough to give you a RPM reading.

Oh, how long did you crank over? i didn't notice you did stuff with injectors.
perhaps there is air in the lines yet, and hasn't cleared out enough to get a good pressure to fire.

I crank longer then I like too and did it quite often though the day. When it ran last weekend, it was only for five to ten minute total.

Check the HPOP reservoir. It might be empty. Might also just need to crank a long time due to the IPR work you did.

How far have you driven since the IPR work?

Hpop is full. I didn't drive it, just ran it for about 5 to 10 minutes. Didn't start it during the week because of the whole water pump issue. btw... the old water pump was a late model pump so i exchanged the 95 pump to a 96-97 pump. I could swear I have cranked it enough to get things running.

Is the IPR plugged in? At the IPR and the larger connector on the passenger side of the fuel filter.

yup, sure is. I even pulled the bowl out and checked the FPR so when I put it back in I made sure everything was hooked up. IPR, big plug in passenger side and even hooked up the heater as will. What gets me is it ran last week and all I did was changed the water pump.
