Hi! I would appreciate some help. I'm trying to find some side protectors
for my husband as a birthday gift...his birthday is at the end of the month.
One of our neighbors have a Ford truck that he takes four wheeling and he
attaches these magnetic strips on the side of his truck to protect it from dents or scratches when he is out four wheeling. My husband recently bought a Ford F250 (diesel) and i really want to buy him those magnetic side strips so he can go 4 wheeling in his truck.....i need some help!
It's nice to know that someone else cares about how their truck looks and still wants to take it off road.
I found some material for this at a place called TAP Plastics, it's used to make signs for commercial trucks. If you can't find them or someone else like them, I'd ask a sign company about them. I plan on getting the blank stock and cutting it to fit on the sides of mine to protect the paint.
A company actually produces a kit to fit specific trucks.
I saw it on truckworld.com , I of course can't find it now.
Try digging around on their site.
