m12 or m14 wheels?
I have a '00 f-150 4x4 w/ 4 wheel ABS. I am hearing some noise from the front end and am thinking one of my front hub bearings are going out. I've been pricing parts and I need to know if I have m12 or m14 wheels. How do I tell? Hopefully I won't have to replace the hub for a while, but I need to have a heads up just in case.

WEll I am guessing that refers to the 12mm or 14mm studs. I would say you have 14mm BUT the change took place some time around '00. The rim itself may have a stamp on it that says 12 or 14 and of course if you have a micrometer you can just measure them.

Simple way is take a lugnut off and take it to a major auto parts store that sells them. Most will have a small display with various studs on them that you can try your lugnut on or if they don't they should be able to get you a wheel stud off the shelf in either size for you to try. If you have aftermarket wheels and lugnuts, the lugnuts should be stamped with the size in most cases.
