That's a great idea! It will contract and may very well slip in. You will need to be wearing gloves and be fast though.

Freeze it for a few hours, it will srink a little bit. Then just silicone around the edge and slide it in, wait for it to warm. Then fill with water and check for head gaskets and head cracks.

yes in your reg freezer. frozen metal shrinks, hot metal expands

It might work by freezing it in a regular freezer. Leave it in there for a couple of hours and try it. You would be amazed by how much metal expands and contracts.

thanks, wish i would have asked this earlier, after i had it in and thought maybe it would stay i took a tst up my drive way and it blew out and I cant find it!!! I will have to wait until monday to get another one!

Dang man, stupid little plug is kicking your rear! Hope I never have to go through this. Keep us posted on what does work, may need it someday.

yes it is really getting to me! I full day and still no running truk, was out half the day just finding the right size! good news is i did get the oil changed today!!! lol Ill wait and see what tomorrow brings!
