Boost too high? EGT's too high?

Boost too high? EGT's too high?
I told a diesel mechanic friend that I can peg my 35 psi boost gauge thinking that he would be impressed, He said that sounds high and there might be something wrong with it? I have a 95 with exhaust,stage ones, 80 chip, intake. I can also very easily take my exhaust temp to 1400 without realy pushing it, probe is before turbo. I was hoping my gauge was off. But what else might cause this and how can I keep the temp down.

Sounds normal to me for stage 1 injectors. BTW are you the same Whiteaddiction that bought my instrument cluster off ebay?
Depending on what chip you have the EGT's may be able to be helped by tuning from Tony wildman or DP tuner. Some chips are just known to have higher EGT's

Yep thats me, I am trying to fix a flashing o/d light and was told the speedo may be sending the wrong singnal to computer. So I hope yours didn't have that problem too.
Also I am going to be getting a chip from DP soon so that may help if the chip is to blame. Thanks

When it starts shifting wierd I start punching the dash, Then it shifts perfect again. so speedo it is or maybe a wire.
