Need more power+smoke
I have a '97 F-250 PSD. I got a k&n cold air intake, 3 inch down pipe with 4 inch exhaust, and a superchip programmer. Whats the best programable chip that will give me power and smoke when I want it and economy otherwise. What else will give me more power?

well first thing everyone is going to tell you is to ditch the k@n and get a napa part #6637 air filter the k@n will let to much dirt pass threw and dust the turbo. and the most highly recommended chips are TW and DP

TW chip from totaldieselperformance is my vote. It will give you good power and some decent smoke. You may want some gauges also. Atleast an egt. Then if that is not enough you can get injectors and a 17* HPOP. That will definately make smoke.
The 6637, gauges and a TW chip is where I would put my money.

The DP chip is a good chip as well. This is exactly what you need. The color tan can be changed.

By what i have herd is that the TW chip is the best for our trucks DP better for the newer 7.3's.

LOL tell you what I"m deploying early next year for about 6 months I'll just drop it off then you can make it like yours then I'll just pick it up when i get back
but in all seriousness I will be stealing some ideas around here cause mine desperately needs some TLC and some more power so I'll be putting off getting a new one till this once back turning heads once again. still does it now but i want/need that jaw dropping effect along with it
