1st Blackstone report
My question is this: should I react, or sit tight?
She is running fine, I got a "miss" of some kind climbing Wolf Creek Pass, but no codes showed up and it never happened the rest of the trip. I am at 79000+ miles now.
Thanks for any input or ideas.
Take your next sample at 3000 miles. If you have a Fumoto valve, just drain a quart and then sample. Send it off and add the quart back in. Make your decision based on the results you get.
I usually catch two samples when I change my oil. If I get a bad result on the first, I can always send the second sample to another lab just to see if it is real. In fact, my last Blackstone result came back at 2% fuel - never before had one been over 0.5%. I am sending my second sample to Polaris to verify the result. It also came back at 7 ppm lead which I want to verify as well.

One other thing - if you really are getting an increase in fuel dilution, I would go light on the fuel additives, maybe even stop adding them, for the next 3000 miles. Some of them can be hard on internal engine parts if fuel dilution of the oil brings them in contact with the bearings, etc.
