Is the hyd clutch system on a E150 large enough (fluid/pedal preasure wise) to operate a clutch in front of a Clark CL 457 5sp Meduim Duty transmission?
I am refering to a clutch master/slave cylinder system. Thanks for any input.
I would think not,im guessing that an E150 probably runs a 10" or so clutch, and i would think that a med duty 5 spd will be running a 13" clutch or more.what does an E150 have for engine options,302 or 4.6 liter as the largest, while med duty would have run something like an FE or FT engine,or even diesel power..... im just guessing however!
It would run the air assist clutch, the master for that is pretty small.
Not a very common vehicle to fit that into, though, the shifter would have to be a pretty awkward shape then would still be a little odd to operate, being more of a pull up/push down then a forward/backward movement.
