As it turns out the DMF and clutch will not hold the power of stage II injectors so now I needed a clutch and what a better time to fix those leaky uppipes and might as well get the H2E kit and do it all at the same time. This weekend I did all that and let me tell you it about brought two good men down. LOL. We worked at least 12 hours days for about 3 days and got it done.
Neal that looks awesome!! Clean engine compartment, great looking equipment. I am with Jim on this. I could throw up I am so envious! Now like already said, report the performance! Does it clean up the smoke of your 2's? I would have to think it would. How about spool up? much lag?
Well i am with the rest of them..... very jealous. But hopefully not for long, i almost have the funds to do my H2E and II's and intercooler. I dont know if its just my computer but i cant see any of the pics??? And i would really like to hear about the perofrmance aspect to.... Thanks
I'm sure that after all that work Neal is having a hard time breaking in that new valair clutch since he has to break the clutch in relatively easy for at least 500 miles. LoL. how "grabby" is the clutch Neal? Can't wait to hear how that turbo spools either.
I WANT AN H2E AND A SET OF STAGE 2'S WITH AN INTERCOOLER AND DP-TUNER!!!!!!!!!
actually i would be doing great with just the dp-tuner and intercooler. haha
Nicely done Neal! I love the look of that turbo under the hood, if only I had money to spend on mods I'm also eager to hear how your truck is running now... come on don't keep us in suspense!
DANG Neal!! That's a lot of work and it looks great! Thanks for posting all the pics.
Now you better get busy and fix your sig!
Congrats and post up some burnout vids ASAP.
Are you staying with the aFe intake?
Thanx it was alot of work but well worth it. I was temporarily using my AFE filter till the 6637 got here. It got hung up last week in Houston because of the storm. It arrived yesterday so I removed the AFE filter. Now I have an AFE if anybody needs one.

How are the EGTs lookin?
So many questions so little time. LOL.
It spools great. It is a modded H2E with the 66mm wheel and 17 housing. I thought I would get more lag but I believe it is better than the stocker, which by the way was am awesome turbo but I was worried about it's longevity.
I am taking it easy right now so I have only hit 33-35 psi so far.
EGT's are good just regular driving. I moved my probe to the manifold where it should have been all along. The true test will be when I tow. I was going up Saluda grade on I-26 (N.C./S.C. state line) and I got into it some and ran it till it hit 1200 so I can still get there unloaded up hill but like I said the test will be with the 5er in tow.

It did clean it up but I can still make the Chevy Behind me disappear. (Did that for you J.) LOL. Spool may be better than stocker and lag is not much noticed. If I bump the throttle on accident at idle it makes this funny chirp from near the rear of the truck. LOL

Yeah that is my biggest problem right now. I have to break in that clutch for 200 miles around town and for 200 miles adding weight/towing. I HATE THIS BREAK-IN PERIOD. PERIOD!!!
The clutch is very grabby. I love it. It is either in or out. Not much slipping or riding the clutch.

Yup the H2E has a 1/2" steel plate that replaces the pedestal. The oil lines are mounted to that. I will see if I can find the pics of it for you.
