she cranked good this morning and this afternoon, so Im going to assume all is good. Im gonna swing by the parts house tomorrow after work and pick up a CPS.

Never seen one stay fixed though

Don't wander too far from home, it's going to fail

yea youre right. . .theres always going to be something that can go wrong on the old rig.

Even thenew. I am dealing with a 99 F-350. All the testing with the EEC V breakout box, and all the scanning and all the probing said it had a bad computer (cranks no start situation too). Well, the comp was bad, but that wasn't the problem. Tried an IDM, no go. Checked everything again, (IPC, Cam, etc., etc.) will start on an ether squirt, and run as long as I have it above idle, and it will run all day long til I let up off the pedal. Don't know, yet, but will find out tomorrow or the next day......really irritating.
