Hi I have a 2004 super duty 6.0 automatic crew cab 4x4. My egr cooler went out replaced it and then found out about the egr block off. I am going to install that but can you tell me where to get a oil cooler delete so I can take care of it at the same time. I have looked but have not found any info, Liburator performance was suggested but I looked on thier web sight no luck there.Thank you for the HELP.
I personaly would not recommend deleting the oil cooler. I have read a lot from ASE mechanics that state it is important to have it so that heat can be removed from the oil system. In fact, when the EGR cooler fails, you should replace the oil cooler since it has probably plugged up on the coolant side.
There are several ways to delete and remove the EGR cooler and still keep the oil cooler. It requires installation of a means to get the coolant from the oil cooler back into the coolant return system.
