According to my catalog and the picture, it looks as if it is all one assembly. I can fax you or e-mail you a picture of it if you like. PM me if you would like to give me that info.
You're right. I do have that here. I looked at it and it is just the mast. I called another dealer who showed the old part number and same thing, just the mast. After a little investigating, I found the boot (or cap, as Ford calls it) part number: XC3Z-18A927-AA
Just FYI that part number is for the little piece of plastic at the base of the antenna. I think Ford has discontinued what I am looking for. I'll try to find a pic.
Does any one know where I can get a shorter antenna? Mine hits the top of my garage door and I'd prefer it didn't.
Most auto parts stores sell aftermarket antennas. I prefer mine to hit things as it gives me a warning that I need to be cautious of the height restriction. If my antenna hits it means ive got about 2-4" of clearance left.
