Don't know if its the same as a 55 but on the 55 I used a small flat screwdriver just push in and turn. It has a spring behind that provies the pressure to hold the bezel on.
Disconnect you negative battery lead if it's hooked up, then reach behind the dash, push the ignition switch toward the dash from behind, against the spring pressure, and twist it until it is released from the bezel.

Thanks, I'll give it a try tomorrow. I did notice that it would move forward if I pushed it from behind.
The cab is sitting on a dolly so there's no battery anywhere in sight ... LOL

I might not have phrased things right above. The ignition switch should have a cut in its threads that align/lock with a stud on the dash hole to keep it from turning. When you push on the back of the switch, turn the BEZEL!
