You mentioned having a trailer. I've used mine to carry relief supplies on the first Katrina trip that I did. This was coordinated through the "Week of Compassion" funds through our church. I was given a list of supplies that were needed, my 24' trailer was loaded full and there was a whole crew waiting for me to arrive with the supplies so that they could immediately start distributing them to where they were needed. I couldn't have done this by myself - it took a whole team to make this work.
Thanks again, I appreciate the guidance!
The part that I left quoted is the stuff im interested in doing. Im not a carpenter so rebuilding isnt something I can just jump into. Heat and humidity are never an issue. I work outside all day reguardless of heat/humidity/rain.
I have the ability to tow/haul so I just want to offer my resources. I know what its like not being able to move anything or be helpless in time of a disaster. When I was younger Our house was hit by a tornado, it was right as it had touched down and it went away from our house but ever since I saw the people come to help the neighborhood I have always wanted to do my part. Thanks again!!!
