I replaced my coolant a while back and I just read something about coolant addative.
I used the Orielly brand coolant (Green)... I can't remember if it had the SCA in it... I asked the guys at orielly's about the addative and they didn't know anything about it.

Where can I get the addative, Stealership?
How long does it take for cavitation to occur?
SCA can be had at dealer, IH, Napa or any place that sells big rig parts..you can also get the test strips at them places too....it should be checked at least once a year...
well I went to the stealership and bought some addative. They didn't have any test strips though... How much cooling capacity is in the trucks? 4 gallons?
It calls for 4oz per gallon and it's a 16oz bottle so I would assume I have about 4 gallons of capacity in the truck... Does this sound about right?
