One always leads to another
When I was into early Broncos the first one led to, I think 9 of them over the years, then I got a Model A and now I have 3. I got my first Slick 3 months ago, and I just got my second one today. Its a 65 CS I picked up for a grand, its got dealer installed a/c and all the brightwork and mirrors I'll put on the 4x4 when I paint it. With Broncos I used to say I have a bad case of Bronc-itis, now I think I'm developing a case of Slick-itis. (someone come up with a better term for this disease)

I have an appreciation for all the american makes, the older the better, but I hate to admit that I'm now driving a $400 '86 Honda as my to and from work beater. Hurricane Ike isn't going to do us any favors in the price of gas, it went up 15 cents per litre today alone here. I would like to add my best of luck to all of you in Ike's path as you have a heckuva lot more to worry about than gas prices right now. Godspeed.

Great looking Slick combo you got there; Its true you just can't have but one. Its a non-curable illness..
Next week gas will jump up again because foreign oil didn't sell as fast during Ike as gulf coast shut down. Its a never ending story.
