Interior Lights / Cargo Light

Hello All , my 2002 F350's interior lights and cargo light will not go out. On the dash the "open door" symbol is lit , but all 4 doors are shut. HELP!!!!!
Bad sensor? How do I check? I took out the fuse from the panel for now , truck starts and runs ok , just no instrument cluster.

What you can do is spray all the door latches heavy with wd-40(or pb blaster).Mine done the same thing and someone on here told me about the door latch mod...and it worked.

Thanks , I sprayed the latches w/WD - 40 and now the "door ajar" light has gone off , but the interior lights and cargo light stay on.

Will driving withOUT the fuse (#35) harm the truck?

My farther-in-law's ranger did the same thing. I ended up taking the drivers side latch off and cleaning it with PB and CRC contact cleaner.

Spray the latches and open and close the door many times,Repeat.
You have to work the switch loose.
