Where do I request a OASIS report from?
Hello guys I'm new to the site soplease excuse me if I ask a stupid question. I currently own a '03 Ford Excursion Limited but upgrading to a '06 F-350 4x4 6.0 Diesel w/ 29,000 this weekend. I've been reading alot on here and seems like I need to request a OASIS report on the F-350. Could someone please explain what exactly is an OASIS report and what does in contain? Vehilce failure history? Updates performed etc. I did take the VIN # phoned my local Ford dealer asked for a history report. Everthing came back fine no recalls no repairs etc. So any information recieved is certainly appreciated. Thansk in Advance.

Just an FYI...from what i've just learned it only shows work that was submitted under warranty. I just recently had work done that the dealer claims was not warranty (i had to pay) and it is not listed on my Oasis.

Correct, OASIS only shows warranty history. Out of warranty and cash jobs do not show on the OASIS...

Yup and since his is an 06 w/ 29k on the clock it's still under warranty so unless it's been blacklisted, any work should be listed on the OASIS.

I'm not shore if this is right spot but here it goes. I'm looking at a 04 f350 with a 6.0. I don't know if its built early or late in the year. The vin # is 1FTSX31P84EA28266 with 115,000 miles. I'm kind of nerves about the 6.0, Ive heard good and bad. I was wondering if someone could look up the oasis report.Thank you in advance.
I was also wondering if you can run offroad fuel in this engine. [I farm so it's legal in my area] A friend of mine with a 07 durmax claims he has a senser what will shut his down.
