buzz test question
P0267 cylinder #3 injector circuit low
P1298 faulty IDM
So what does low injector circuit mean? Is it related to the IDM code? Where should I start looking for the problem.
She runs pretty good, but I notice a little knock and uneven idle after it has warmed up. Any idea?
- DTCs below indicate a low side ground short in the circuit between the IDM and the injector. The following table lists the circuit to inspect while performing these pinpoint tests, based on the DTC retrieved during the KOEO On-Demand or Injector Electrical Self Tests.

- Disconnect injector valve cover connector at the suspect injector.
- Measure resistance between suspect circuit of the engine harness connector and battery negative post.
I might suspect a burned or shorted wire either under the valve cover ,or where the main harness crosses the L head ...
What is the cylinder order for these engines?
What is the L head?
Sorry for all the newbie questions
