Air down the tires ,put it in 2nd gear, rev it up and let er go!! As you begin to slow down work your steering wheel back and forth a little to try and grab some more traction. An upgrade to an 8 cyl would help, but I have seen the 6's run good.

if you bogg down on your first try

then try low side of your t case

i run a C-6 with a 351C in the low side with 38's and 4.56:1

i put it in drive and take off

for you is alot differnt

i would try hi side in your case for tire speed

but dont know id your 6 will run them good enough in hi side though

and with a spool in the front if you go to bouncing be easy because with a spool in the front the long side will snap if it hits before the short side hit and the tires spinning under power

have done this a few times

just remember if you like me ( go till it breaks) then put it on the floor and go till yuo cant go no more or till the flag ma tells you to

good luck and let us know how it works out

hi all thanks for the information .. its is a single speed tranfer 2hi neutral and 4 hi .. but i do have a extra tranfer case its 4lo 2hi and 4hi . ill have to scrape the grease off to see numbers on it ,and i dont have mini in the front end its open, just the rearend..one question what about weight in the rear.. you want to cut as much away from front to make it lighter right..........the reason i have pick this pickup and motor combination it is a mule .. have pulled two dead chevys hooked together out of a hole in 3feet deep mud in granny at idle in granny...mmmmmmmmmmmm love this ford

yea but in mud bogg racing its all keeping your wheel speed up without any rpm drop

not what you can pull

faster the tires speen the more elovation in the pit you will have and the faster th e tire the faster down the track you go
