exhaust thoughts

So, I have my truck mostly designed in my head. I wish I could still draw. Or atleast whatever I day dream I could put into graphic format. anyways.

Is blowing exhaust on your tires a bad idea?

I would not blow it directly on the tire. You could be asking for blow outs if you do that. If it pointed in a similar fashion as my side pipe was you will be fine. Push it out to the side of the truck but the wheel will get dirty.

You will have this truck completely designed by the time you get it.
Question is will you have the cash for the designs. Keep savin' and lookin' bro. Good luck.

The order of Williams day while he dreams about his truck
First he gets happy, then he starts dreaming, then he wakes up!

mine dumps about 6 inches in front of the tire,on my second set of tires and had no problems other than my wheel getting black after heavy pulls.

you have angle outs though on yours?

I really want to do miters, but i dont want to have any problems with exhaust on the tires.
Though, in the winter time, that warm exhaust might help keep those rears clean!!!

I'm thinkin a miter will just hit the outside edge of the rim/tire and keep my rear rims black for me, hahaha.

well. i'll let you think about it like a side pipe like tim's. but only a few people know exactly what i want to do.
I dont want a turn out though, i'd rather have miter cut ends. I was just worried that it would bother the the rubber with the heat that it would throw out, or it could just possibly be far enough away from the tire that the dispursion wouldn't bother the tire at all.

i think the tire would get a little more road heat then exhaust heat anyway, especially with the wind while you're driving, maybe sitting still it wouldn't be good?
