Source for Pistons

Who knows a good source for 6.9l pistons cheap. I was going to rebuild my 7.3 (which had good pistons, just needed rings) Until I found out it had a cracked head. I've got a good 6.9 block and heads, but its going to need pistons.

Try a local machine shop, you might be supprised at what the prices can be. The shop that did my block for me was able to get a price here in canada that I have not been able to find even from US sources. 30 thou oversize with wrist pins and pregapped rings already installed.

With such cheap parts on the web these days, local retailers have been forced to drop prices.

I bought 90% of my part through the machine shop that did my engine work as well.
Their price was as good or better than most places I checked.
Plus I would have been paying shipping to ge the parts from the lower cost places, which in the end made them more expensive than I could by locally.

Plus it's A LOT easier to deal with someone face-to-face than over the internet or phone, especially if there's a problem.
And if you buy local the guy might be able to stay in buisness for the next time you need him.
