boost flutter

my boost gauge flutters alot. steady to about 5lb than flutters up to around 10-15* steadys out and flutters real bad up to 25* (it will bounce 5* when really get into it) The higher i set the chip the flutter seems to go away a little but is still bad. Am i geting stall, could a small up pipe leak do this or what?

I think the uppipe may cause if but I have uppipe leaks and mine doesn't do it. I would guess your boost line is kinked or damaged.

wouldnt it flutter just all of time if line was damaged?

Not sure although I have heard of this being the problem onthis type of problem. But like I said I am not sure because it has never happened to me.

If you install a fitting with a restrictive orifice in the boost line near the gauge the flutter will go away.
