I just bought a 'new' one of them 'old style' Stanleys. Best thermos I ever owned. First had one back in the 80s in the Marines.....I even ran OVER that SOB one time.....Had a good dent in it, but kept my coffee piping hot all day.
The one I just got will have nothing BUT coffee in it. I'm going to get one of the shorter, wider 'soup' thermi for this winter for work. Great for chicker/rice....chicken/stars....etc..
I too, have one that's a 16 ounce small mouth thermos for beverage use,
and one 24 and one 32 ounce large mouth thermos for chunky type soups and the like.
The 24 ounce thermos even has the fold flat carry handle.
I now use them for camping. They are built for abuse.
It's a little hard to find the 100% stainless ones these days. I never liked the Stanleys that were stainless inside and painted green outside. But the all stainless ones were great. I prefer the Thermos brand.

I kind of like the old green Aladdin Stanley thermos bottles.
When someone says thermos, you normally think of the green ones.
