On a 2001 E350 van if you increase the tire size from a LT245 to a LT295 how do they re adjust the speedometer and the tranny shift points ?

It's different for a dielel vs. gas engine. The diesel has a VSS (vehicle speed sensor) mounted on the transmission tailshaft that provides the vehicle speed signal for the PCM, speed control, etc. The gas engine uses the OSS (outputshaft speed sensor) on the transmission and it sent to the PCM which interprets the signal and sends it out to all necessary components. The gas engine requires a PCM update, the diesel is more involved.....
